Inclusion is the practice of 'including' students with special education needs in a mainstream classroom. This involves adapting methods in the curriculum and with special behavioral management considerations.
In the inclusive standardized classroom, requirements and assessments can be adapted accordingly to individual needs. These projects need to be flexible for the specific needs of a student with special needs. In the special population classrooms, lessons should be modified for managing individual requirements and assessment. They can be taught and produced with simple adaptations of time allotment, number of steps, and directions, as needed per individual child.
