I am a Fine Artist and an art educator.    I have formed a style that consists of interpreting scenes of nature, people, and scenic, societal landscapes.  Being a mindful artist is a constant existence for me.  It enables me to teach what I understand and is a rewarding feat.  My aim is to help students understand and appreciate skills in producing art and to also find their own rewards and abilities to create on any level. I am, and remain,  an open-minded teacher and learner, by providing my students with a variety of utensils for fulfilling art experiences.   In the ideal classroom, I help my students be motivated to discover a range of methods, media, and styles. Through these discoveries, I help them gain a confidence and be proud of their accomplishments.
